I've been overweight all my life, and now that I've moved out of my parents house and have more control over my life... I'm going to try to do something about it.

This isn't going to be easy for me. My sisters have put me on diets and such since I was 4. They and my mother are your stereotypical tiny asian women, and I have always felt like the oddball out. Shopping with them has always been humiliating. My mother and I get into loud, obnoxious fights in stores when she tries to get me to shop in the maternity section. The one of my sisters sends me her maternity shorts and they're too small.

I turn 21 in Nov. 2005.... and my goal is to be a size 12 by my 22nd birthday. I'm going to try to use this journal to motivate myself as much as possible. I don't want to give up on myself this time.
